V-LIGHT — Ceramic Coating for Headlights & Taillights

Stop headlights yellowing for good — crystal clear and protected for up to 1 year.

Polishing yellowed headlights works — but only temporarily. Without a protective film, polycarbonate headlights oxidise and turn yellow again within weeks, no matter how well they were polished. V-LIGHT is the permanent solution. Vonixx's high-performance SiO₂ ceramic coating forms a glassy, semi-flexible, crystal-clear film over polycarbonate headlights that locks out UV rays, repels water and dirt, and prevents yellowing from returning — for up to 1 year from a single application.

Works on both new headlights and oxidised ones. Polish first, coat second, and never deal with yellow headlights again.

Why You'll Love It

Permanently stops headlights yellowing — Unlike polishing alone, V-LIGHT forms a durable ceramic protective film that prevents UV-induced oxidation from returning — keeping headlights crystal clear long after treatment.

Glassy, high-transparency ceramic film — Forms a semi-flexible, vitreous film of exceptional clarity that enhances the appearance of headlights and taillights without any yellowing, hazing, or distortion.

Semi-flexible — won't crack — The coating is specifically engineered to flex with polycarbonate as it expands and contracts with temperature changes, without cracking or peeling over time.

UV protection — Creates a UV-blocking barrier that prevents the UV-induced oxidation responsible for headlight yellowing and cloudiness.

Water and dirt repellency — The hydrophobic ceramic film repels water and dirt from headlight and taillight surfaces, keeping them cleaner for longer.

Works on new and oxidised headlights — Suitable for protecting brand-new headlights from the start, or for restoring and protecting headlights that have already yellowed — just polish first before coating.

Also works on taillights, windows, and windshields — V-LIGHT can be applied to windows and windshields for added water repellency, making it even more versatile.

Outstanding yield — The 20ml V-LIGHT yields up to 20 pairs of headlights and 2 to 3 windshields. The 50ml V-LIGHT PRO yields significantly more — ideal for professional use.

Choose Your Version

V-LIGHT — 20ml | Includes suede microfibre applicator The standard version for home detailers and enthusiasts. Yields up to 20 pairs of headlights and 2 to 3 windshields. Perfect for single-vehicle use or occasional treatments.

V-LIGHT PRO — 50ml | Includes suede microfibre applicator The professional version — same formula, larger volume. Ideal for detailers treating multiple vehicles or anyone wanting maximum yield from a single kit.

How to Apply

For oxidised and yellowed headlights:

  1. Wet-sand the headlights to remove oxidation and yellowing — work progressively from coarser to finer grit until the surface is clear.
  2. Clean thoroughly with an IPA prep solution to remove all sanding residue and contaminants.
  3. Apply a generous amount of V-LIGHT to the included suede microfibre applicator and apply in horizontal movements only, ensuring full, even coverage across the entire surface.
  4. Do not wipe off — leave the coating on the surface. Keep the headlights away from dust and water for the first 4 hours after application.

For new headlights:

  1. Decontaminate with a clay bar and clean with an IPA prep solution.
  2. Apply V-LIGHT to the included suede microfibre applicator in small amounts, using criss-cross movements across the surface.
  3. After 1 to 4 minutes, wipe off with a clean, dry microfibre towel.

Curing times:

  • Partial cure: 6 hours — Keep headlights away from water, washing, and dirt during this period.
  • Full cure: 72 hours.

⚠️ Important: Do not wash or wet the headlights for at least 6 hours after application. Full cure takes 72 hours.
